If you have not visited Thailand yet, I hope my pictures inspire you to go out and see this beautifully, colorful country! Bear in mind this was my first trip to Asia so I didn’t know what to expect but Thailand completely blew me away with its friendly locals, tasty food, and endless outdoor adventures.
I visited Thailand in the summer of 2023 where I volunteered at an animal rescue for five weeks. This was my first ever trip to Asia and solo nonetheless. I was a bit nervous to take this first step of traveling solo on a new continent and eager to see who I would meet along the way.
After a few weeks of volunteering, I managed to make new friends and backpackers with whom I explored other parts of Thailand. I had the best time riding on scooters through the jungle, scuba diving with black-tipped reef sharks, and eating my heart out in the best curry I had ever tasted.
I cannot wait to travel back to Asia and explore more of its natural beauty and local cuisine!
